For us, the Divine exists everywhere, within creation and within ourselves. Bhagwan is not separate from us to be feared, but to be realized, respected, and loved. #02 Please avoid using the term โ€œRIPโ€ when someone passes away. Instead say: โ€œOm Shanti,โ€ โ€œSadgati,โ€ or โ€œMay the Atma attain Moksha.โ€ Sanatana Dharma speaks of Atma and Jeeva โ€” concepts far deeper than the Western idea of a โ€œresting soul.โ€ #03 Please do not call the Ramayana and Mahabharata โ€œmythology.โ€ They are Itihasa โ€” sacred history and civilizational memory. Bhagwan Rama and Bhagwan Krishna are revered as historical and spiritual ideals, not fictional characters. #04 Please do not feel apologetic about Moorthi/Vigraha worship. Every civilization uses sacred symbols in some form. Instead of saying โ€œidolโ€ or โ€œstatue,โ€ use the words Moorthi or Vigraha with pride. #05 Please do not refer to Shri Ganesh and Shri Hanuman as โ€œElephant godโ€ or โ€œMonkey god.โ€ Simply say Shri Ganesh and Shri Hanuman with respect and devotion. #06 Please do not call temples โ€œprayer halls.โ€ A temple is a Devalaya โ€” the abode of the Divine โ€” not merely a place for prayer. #07 Please avoid encouraging children to blow out candles before Agni. In our tradition, light symbolizes knowledge and divinity. Instead, light a diya and pray: โ€œTamaso Ma Jyotirgamayaโ€ โ€” Lead me from darkness to light. #08 Please avoid blindly dividing life into โ€œspiritualโ€ and โ€œmaterial.โ€ In Sanatana Dharma, all existence is sacred. Our Rishis were seekers of both science and spirituality together. #09 Please do not loosely translate โ€œPaapaโ€ as โ€œsin.โ€ Dharma and Adharma are much deeper concepts rooted in righteousness, duty, balance, and consequences. #10 Please do not dilute words like Dhyana and Pranayama into mere โ€œmeditationโ€ or โ€œbreathing exercises.โ€ These are profound yogic sciences with deep spiritual significance. The world respects those who respect their own roots, traditions, and civilizational identity. ๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿ™
