🔥 THEYYAM – The Dancing Gods of Kerala 🔥 Theyyam is a ancient ritual art form from North Kerala (Malabar region) where performers are believed to become living embodiments of gods, goddesses, ancestral spirits & divine heroes. During the ceremony, the dancer undergoes purification, dons elaborate makeup & costumes, and is worshipped as the deity by devotees. 👣🙏 There are 400+ unique Theyyams, each representing a different divine or heroic spirit like Muchilot Bhagavathi, Raktha Chamundi, Vishnumoorthi, Poomaruthan, Gulikan, and more.
