Each gate of the Jagannath Temple stands as a symbol of divine protection and strength — from all four directions. 🦁 Lion | 🐎 Horse | 🐘 Elephant | 🐅 Tiger — guardians of the sacred abode. 1. 🦁 Singha Dwara (Lion Gate) – East Side This is the main entrance to the temple. It is called “Singha Dwara” because there are lion statues at the gate. Most devotees enter through this gate. 2. 🐎 Ashwa Dwara (Horse Gate) – South Side Located on the southern side. Named “Ashwa Dwara” due to the presence of horse statues at the entrance. 3. 🐘 Hasti Dwara (Elephant Gate) – North Side Found on the northern side. It has elephant sculptures, hence the name “Hasti Dwara.” 4. 🐅 Vyaghra Dwara (Tiger Gate) – West Side This gate is on the western side of the temple. Known as “Vyaghra Dwara” because of the tiger figures near the gate. ————————————— जगन्नाथ मंदिर का प्रत्येक द्वार चारों दिशाओं से दिव्य सुरक्षा और शक्ति का प्रतीक है। 🦁 सिंह | 🐎 अश्व | 🐘 हस्ति | 🐅 व्याघ्र — इस पवित्र धाम के दिव्य रक्षक। 1. 🦁 सिंह द्वार (पूर्व दिशा – Lion Gate) यह मंदिर का मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार है। इस द्वार पर सिंहों की मूर्तियाँ होने के कारण इसे “सिंह द्वार” कहा जाता है। अधिकांश भक्तगण इसी द्वार से मंदिर में प्रवेश करते हैं। 2. 🐎 अश्व द्वार (दक्षिण दिशा – Horse Gate) यह द्वार मंदिर के दक्षिण भाग में स्थित है। यहाँ पर घोड़ों की मूर्तियाँ हैं, इसलिए इसका नाम “अश्व द्वार” रखा गया है। 3. 🐘 हस्ति द्वार (उत्तर दिशा – Elephant Gate) यह मंदिर के उत्तर दिशा में स्थित है। इस द्वार पर हाथियों की मूर्तियाँ हैं, इसलिए इसे “हस्ति द्वार” कहा जाता है। 4. 🐅 व्याघ्र द्वार (पश्चिम दिशा – Tiger Gate) यह द्वार मंदिर के पश्चिम भाग में स्थित है। यहाँ बाघों की मूर्तियाँ हैं, जिससे इसका नाम “व्याघ्र द्वार” पड़ा है।. #Jagannath #Puri #RathYatra
